De tu risa leve, que es como un cantar, ella equieta mi herida, todo todo se olvida (after C.G)
De tu risa leve, que es como un cantar, ella equieta mi herida, todo todo se olvida (after C.G) is a sculpture made of found materials derived from the archive of the artist’s mother, which includes her mother’s purse, foil balloons, wire, ribbon, and a rose hook. Each material possesses a memory of her mother, especially one that captures her late mother’s time as a professional clown. The piece reflects on loss and joy expressed as both a memorial due to her mother’s passing and a celebration from her early performance career.
