All That Also Means To See

All That Also Means to See is a durational sculpture that mimics the body inhaling (inflating) and exhaling (deflating), set to a timer every five minutes. The brown form both abstracts the body by way of artificial plastic (plastic table cloth) and imitates an organic form with its skin-like texture. The inflation summons a presence of form which slowly dissipates into the gallery wall, appearing and disappearing over time.
